Muscat: It is anticipated that the zenith of the tropical climate will occur on the second and third days of October, 2024, namely Tuesday and Wednesday, 2024, with rainfall intensities varying between 40 to 90 millimeters, as per the observations of Oman Meteorology.
In a formal announcement, Oman Meteorology has stated, "Recent analyses conducted by the National Center for Early Warning of Multiple Hazards suggest that the Sultanate of Oman will persistently be influenced by the tropical climate conditions, commencing this evening, Monday, October 1, 2024."
"The period of maximum impact is projected to span Tuesday and Wednesday, with rainfall intensities varying between 40 to 90 millimeters. This is expected to result in the flow of valleys and ravines, with some areas potentially experiencing torrential rainfall," the announcement further elaborated.
