Muscat: The Foreign Ministry has officially declared that Omani citizens who wish to travel to the Republic of Türkiye can now apply for a tourist visa exemption. This exemption allows Omani citizens with ordinary passports to visit Türkiye for tourism purposes and stay for a maximum of 90 days within a 180-day period.
Earlier, the Turkish Embassy in Muscat had made an announcement stating that a Presidential Decree No. 7976, dated 23 December 2023, had been issued. This decree exempts Omani citizens with ordinary passports from obtaining a visa for their tourist travels to Türkiye, allowing them to stay for up to 90 days within a 180-day period.
