Upon Royal Orders Of HM, State Council Opens 2nd Regular Sitting Of 8th Term

Muscat: In accordance with the directives issued by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the State Council convened its second regular session of the Eighth Term (2023-2027), in alignment with the stipulations outlined in Article (38) of the Council of Oman Law.

The inaugural session was presided over by Sheikh Abdulmalik Abdullah Al Khalili, the esteemed Chairman of the State Council.

During the course of the session, the Council deliberated on a variety of proposals and studies put forth by the permanent committees for discussion throughout the Eighth Term. Additionally, the Council examined the response provided by the Council of Ministers to a study focusing on the establishment of standards for the regulation of e-commerce and the arts, including their envisioned contributions to the national economy and the efficiency of expenditure within the Sultanate of Oman.
