UNICEF Values Oman’s Support For Children In Gaza Strip

Muscat: UNICEF has expressed its deep gratitude for the $1 million donation made by the Sultanate of Oman to support children in the Gaza Strip.

The organization emphasized that this significant contribution reflects Oman's unwavering stance on the Palestinian issue and its strong support for Palestine's pursuit of peace.

UNICEF highlighted that Oman's position is driven by its sincere commitment to humanitarian efforts and its unwavering support for the well-being of children both nationally and internationally.

The international organization described Oman's contributions as playing a crucial role in providing essential aid to children in the Gaza Strip, who face significant challenges such as food insecurity and limited access to education and healthcare services. It further stated that this support will enable UNICEF to continue its vital programs and initiatives aimed at improving the lives and welfare of children.

Sumaira Chowdhury, the UNICEF Representative to the Sultanate of Oman, expressed her gratitude to Oman for this noble gesture towards the children in Palestine. She emphasized that this generous donation will have a profound impact on the lives of many children in the Gaza Strip, where urgent life-saving support is needed and a brighter future is sought.
