Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has apprehended two individuals, all of whom are expatriates, for the commission of a theft that involved the pilfering of substantial amounts of steel, intended for construction purposes, from an establishment located within the Wilayat of Al Khaboura, within the North Al Batinah Governorate.
In a statement made available on the internet, the ROP conveyed the information: "The North Al Batinah Governorate Police Command successfully detained two individuals, who are of Asian nationality, for the offense of theft involving the illicit acquisition of large volumes of steel, destined for construction applications. The legal proceedings against these individuals have been concluded."
