Tunis: Today, President Kais Saied of the Tunisian Republic welcomed Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, the Minister of Interior, at the Presidential Palace.
This meeting coincided with the gathering of Arab Interior Ministers attending the 42nd session of the Arab Interior Ministers Council.
During their discussion, the minister extended the greetings and best wishes of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to President Saied and the Tunisian populace.
In response, President Saied requested the minister to relay his greetings and best wishes to His Majesty the Sultan and the people of Oman.
The Tunisian President praised the significant and effective role of the Arab Interior Ministers Council in fostering security cooperation among Arab nations, expressing his hopes for the success of the 42nd session in fulfilling the aspirations of Arab leaders and their citizens.
The meeting also addressed the Council's efforts to ensure the security and safety of Arab countries.
