Organised by the Muscat Media Group and the Gulf Leaders Circle, the second edition of the Times of Oman ‘Business Leadership Summit’ is set to convene over 150 distinguished executives, senior government officials, business leaders, and industry experts. This event promises to facilitate in-depth discussions on business leadership and excellence, while also celebrating the unique achievements of its participants at the St. Regis Al Mouj Muscat Resort on the 30th of October.
The esteemed presence of His Excellency Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, Oman’s Minister of Commerce, Industry & Investment Promotion, as the chief guest, alongside Mr. Mohammed Bin Mahfoodh Alardhi, Executive Chairman of Investcorp and Chairman of the Board of Muscat Stock Exchange, as the keynote speaker, underscores the significance of this gathering. The Summit is backed by the Oman Energy Association (OPAL), Oman American Business Council, and Oman Banks Association, with Al Mouj Muscat Resort serving as the strategic partner for this event.
The theme of the Summit, ‘Redefining Leadership for Business Excellence’, is designed to provide a robust platform for thought-provoking discussions, offering valuable insights into the leadership strategies that are shaping the future of business in Oman and beyond.

The Summit will feature two panel discussions, each offering unique perspectives on business leadership and excellence. The inaugural panel discussion, titled ‘From Disruption to Opportunity: Innovating for Sustainable Business Growth’, will bring together a distinguished panel of experts. Among them are Ali Hassan Moosa, Advisor - Estidamah, Ministry of Finance and Member-Finance and Insurance Committee, Oman Chamber of Commerce & Industry; Hussain Abdulatif Al Balushi, Group CFO, Nama Water Services; Badar Al Shanfari, Chief Investment Officer (Private Equity), Ominvest; Eng. Aladdin Baitfadhil, Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), Omantel; Eng. Maqbool Al Wahaibi, CEO, Oman Data Park; Miron Kibria, CFO Oman, Liva Insurance; and Khalid Ansari, Founder & CEO, KMA & Partners. This panel will be moderated by Natalie Lindo, Senior Presenter – Middle East, Euro News.
The forthcoming second panel discussion is scheduled to focus on the subject of "Oman's Path Ahead - New Opportunities for Growth." The esteemed panelists for this event include Aisha Al Kharusi, who serves as the Deputy Executive Chairperson at the Modern College of Business & Science; Abdullah Al-Jabri, the Deputy CEO of the Al Tasnim Group; Shabib Al Maamari, the CEO of Visit Oman; Abdullah Al Shaksy, the co-founder and CEO of Phaze Ventures; Dr. Fatin Al Zadjali, the Head of Learning and Development at Bank Dhofar; and Othman Al Mandhari, the Founder and CEO of InnoTech. The discussion will be chaired by Murtadha Al Lawati, the AGM - Marketing & Communications at Oman Housing Bank, and is also recognized for its notable presence on television and radio.
