Iga Swiatek, the reigning champion of the Women's World Rankings, is scheduled to compete against Irina-Camelia Begu in the preliminary round of the singles competition. Concurrently, Coco Gauff, the second-ranked player in the Women's rankings, will face Ajla Tomljanovic in a match of significance.
Carlos Alcaraz, the victor of both the Wimbledon and French Open, is set to take on Hady Habib. Additionally, the 2008 Olympic champion in the singles category, Rafael Nadal, is lined up to confront Marton Fucsovics.
Alexander Zverev, the champion of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, will compete against Alex de Minaur in the initial round.

However, the two-time Olympic champion, Andy Murray, has decided to withdraw from the men's singles competition. Similarly, Jannik Sinner and Holger Rune have also opted out of the competition.
Sinner has made the decision to withdraw from the competition on social media platform X, citing consultations with his medical team.
"I am deeply saddened and disappointed by this turn of events. The opportunity to compete at the Olympic Games was a primary objective for this season, and I was eagerly anticipating my return to Roland Garros to represent my country in this esteemed event. Unfortunately, after consulting with my doctors on Tuesday and extending my recovery period by an additional day to assess my condition, it has worsened," expressed Sinner on X.
In contrast, Murray has chosen to participate in the men's doubles event. The British tennis star has previously announced his intention to retire from competitive tennis following the Olympics, with Dan Evans set to be his partner in the men's doubles competition.
