Muscat: On Wednesday, the Tender Board convened its inaugural meeting of the year 2024, under the leadership of Dr. Mansoor Talib Al Hinai, Chairman of the Authority for Public Services Regulation (APSR) and Deputy Chairman of the Tender Board.
During this meeting, tenders amounting to OMR97,258,156 were granted for the implementation of additional works related to development projects.
These works encompassed various projects, such as the Al Sharqiya Expressway Project (Part Two, Second Phase) stretching from Al Kamil W'al Wafi to Sur in the South Al Sharqiyah Governorate, with a value of OMR68.4 million. Additionally, a tender worth OMR6.2 million was awarded for the supply of laboratory materials to the Ministry of Health.
Furthermore, the meeting resulted in the approval of a framework contract for the Ministry of Education's textbook printing project, amounting to OMR4.3 million. Additionally, the construction, installation, and storage of materials for pavilions used in exhibitions held abroad by the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism were awarded a tender worth OMR3.99 million, among other tenders.
