Supreme Judicial Council Holds Meeting On Digital Transition

Muscat: The Steering Committee of the Supreme Judicial Council, responsible for overseeing an advisory study on digital transition, convened today with "Alam," the Saudi firm engaged in implementing the Council's digital transition initiative.

Issa Hamad Al Azri, Secretary General of the Supreme Judicial Council, was present at the meeting.

The discussions focused on key aspects of the project and its anticipated outcomes. The committee reviewed the progress achieved thus far, including consultative tasks related to the project's infrastructure, programs, and electronic services.

A significant point of discussion was the unified portal of the judicial platform, which features a variety of advanced tools designed to enhance case management, streamline judicial procedures, and improve citizens' access to judicial services.

Several recommendations were proposed regarding the adaptation of systems to better align with the needs of the Supreme Judicial Council.

The meeting underscored the necessity of ongoing efforts to establish a comprehensive database, provide local training to achieve the objectives of the electronic transition project, and explore additional methods to enhance the efficiency of judicial operations.
