SQU’s College Of Economy And Political Sciences To Organise Conference On Digital Transformation

Muscat: The College of Economics and Political Sciences at SQU, in partnership with the Oman Vision 2040 Implementation Follow-Up Office and under the auspices of Dr. Said bin Mohammed Al-Saqri, Minister of Economy, is set to host the 3rd International Conference on Business and Economics.

Scheduled for February 17-18, 2025, at The St. Regis Al Mouj Muscat Resort, the conference will focus on the theme “Driving Digital Transformation and Connectivity for Sustainable Growth.”

This event aims to strengthen the connection between academia and industry by promoting collaborative relationships between scientific research and business practices. It serves as an excellent venue for exploring new research opportunities, fostering partnerships, and providing valuable networking experiences across diverse business sectors.

Key topics of discussion will include the effects of digital transformation on the economic cycle, the role of emerging technology firms in fostering an innovation-driven economy, the importance of global partnerships for sustainable development, and strategies for economic diversification aligned with Oman Vision 2040.
