The souq project in the Wilayat of Al Awabi spans 1,200 square meters and will feature 16 commercial stores, with an investment of OMR 200,000. This souq aims to establish a contemporary commercial hub that stimulates trade within the wilayat.
With a completion rate of 70%, the construction of this souq is progressing rapidly.
Simultaneously, the Wadi Al Mawil Souq is being developed over an area of 1,800 square meters and will include 27 commercial stores, with an investment of OMR 300,000. The project is currently 92% complete. Both souqs are designed to incorporate coffee shops, mosques, parking facilities, open seating areas, and landscaping, all tailored to meet the needs of shoppers.
These projects exemplify the South Al Batinah Governorate's dedication to developing souqs in the region.
