Muscat: The historical Sohar Fort, located in the Wilayat of Sohar, North Al Batinah Governorate, will undergo a temporary closure from January 8 to 16, 2024.
The closure of Sohar Fort in the Wilayat of Sohar in the North Al Batinah Governorate has been announced by the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism. From January 8 to 16, 2024, the fort will be closed to visitors.
Therefore, individuals and institutions who are planning to visit the fort during this period are requested not to include it in their visit programme. The Ministry further stated that the fort's doors will be reopened to visitors on January 17, 2024.
