Scientific Symposium Explores AI's Role In Business Management

Ibri: On Thursday, the University of Technology and Applied Sciences' College of Economics and Business Administration hosted a special scientific symposium titled "Artificial Intelligence in Business Management. "

Dr. Ahoud Said Al Balushi, a State Council member, oversaw the event.

The event sought to discuss the quick changes caused by AI technologies in company management sectors, highlight national experiences, and analyze prospects and difficulties for AI adoption while predicting its future position in employment and the workplace.

Dr. Al Ameer Nasser Al Alawi, UTASIbri's Assistant Vice Chancellor, remarked: AI has become an inescapable reality—no longer a luxury, but a strategic tool that allows institutions to improve operational efficiency, support decision-making, optimize resource management, and provide excellent services aligned with modern social aims.

He underlined AI's important role in creating competitive advantages in local and global markets, emphasizing UTAS's dedication to preparing students and professionals to use AI and digital technologies to attain national development objectives.
