Muscat: On Sunday, HH Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth, announced two ministerial decisions.
The initial decision focuses on the regulations for allocating and distributing government subsidies to the Oman Olympic Committee.
The second decision involves amendments to the articles of association model for sports associations supported by the government.
These decisions are a result of the Ministry's efforts to regulate the sports sector, improve the governance of sports organizations, and empower them to effectively fulfill their roles both locally and internationally, while also addressing the challenges they face.
