Muscat: This week, the KNVB (Royal Netherlands Football Association) collaborated with Nasmo to host the WorldCoaches program in Oman.
This innovative initiative gathered 25 promising young football coaches for an engaging coaching course aimed at enhancing their football knowledge while also developing vital professional skills such as teamwork, communication, and strategic planning.
Throughout the program, participants applied their newly acquired skills by conducting training sessions for younger children, fostering their enthusiasm for the sport among the next generation.
The week concluded with a football tournament on Thursday, January 23, at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex. This event highlighted the participants' development and influence, generating joy and excitement among players and spectators. During the closing ceremony, the coaches were honored for their hard work and commitment, each receiving an official WorldCoaches certificate to commemorate their successful completion of the program.
The KNVB's visit to Oman is part of the celebration of 400 years of maritime ties between Oman and the Netherlands, symbolizing the enduring relationship between the two countries.
