Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has today promulgated Royal Decree No. (57/2024) to formally ratify an agreement between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Bulgaria. This agreement stipulates the mutual exemption of short-stay visa requirements for individuals holding diplomatic, special, and service passports. The formal signing of this agreement took place in New York on the 23rd of September, 2024.
Article (1) affirms the ratification of the aforementioned agreement in alignment with the version provided in the attachment to this decree.
Article (2) declares that this decree is to be published in the Official Gazette and will come into effect from the date of its issuance.
