Muscat: On Monday, the National Road Safety Committee convened under the leadership of Lt. Gen Hassan Mohsin Al Shraiqi, Inspector General of Police and Customs.
The meeting, held at the General Directorate of Traffic, focused on reviewing traffic statistics, public awareness initiatives, and the responsibilities of relevant authorities in implementing strategies to reduce road accidents.
The committee commended the support of citizens and residents in following traffic regulations. This collective effort has played a significant role in enhancing road safety, as demonstrated by a noticeable reduction in road accidents, according to the statistics presented.
