Programme On Principles Guiding State’s Domestic, Foreign Policy Begins

Muscat: The Foreign Ministry is hosting the 9th edition of a program focused on the principles that shape the state's domestic and foreign policies.

The opening ceremony took place under the patronage of Sayyid Suleiman Al Busaidi, Deputy Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers. This program will run until April 24.

Organized by the Ministry of Labour in collaboration with the Foreign Ministry, the initiative aims to strengthen regional and international partnerships while enhancing the global profile of the Sultanate of Oman.

Over the course of four days, the program will feature insights from ambassadors, officials, and decision-makers.

Topics covered will include diplomatic immunities and privileges, seniority and precedence, the foreign policy strategies of the Sultanate of Oman, the 11th Five-Year Plan, and institutional excellence.

Additionally, the program will provide an overview of international relations and clarify the distinctions between politics and diplomacy.
