Eid Al-Adha festivities have commenced in different regions of Oman, including Muscat, with vibrant commercial activities reflecting a joyful atmosphere through cultural, social, and sports events.
Across North A’Sharqiyah Governorate, numerous villages and wilayats have set up bustling markets and tents, drawing in crowds of shoppers eager to purchase their Eid essentials.
Local small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and skilled artisans have played a significant role in providing a wide range of Eid products, such as clothing, perfumes, household items, Omani cuisine, and traditional crafts, in line with the region's entrepreneurial culture.
In the Wilayat of Nakhal, South Al Batinah Governorate, the municipal department is collaborating with the community to organize two pre-Eid markets, including Souq Saabi’ and the main Eid Al-Adha Habta souq scheduled for Friday, 14 June 2024, near Nakhal Fort.
Meanwhile, in A’Dhakhikiya Governorate, the Municipality is gearing up for the upcoming Eid Al-Adha celebrations by enhancing cleanliness in public areas and arranging traditional livestock markets and popular festivities.
