Muscat: The technical panel of the National Digital Economy Programme met for its second session of the year (2024), led by Dr. Ali Amer Al Shidhani, who serves as Undersecretary for the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology for Communications, with representatives from related government agencies present.
During the session, the panel explored strategies for putting into action the suggestions from the initial meeting of the technical committee of the National Digital Economy Programme. It also examined the preliminary and final semi-annual reports of the National Digital Economy Programme to be presented to the Council of Ministers, alongside a blueprint for the National Digital Economy Programme's future phase (2026-2030).
