Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has reported the arrest of over 30 foreign nationals for breaching labor and residency regulations in the Muscat Governorate.
In a statement, the ROP noted that the Muscat Governorate Police Command, in collaboration with the Police Special Task Force Command, carried out an inspection operation in the Wilayat of Bausher. During this campaign, 36 expatriates were detained for violating labor and residency laws. This group includes eighteen individuals from Bangladesh, five from Pakistan, four from India, four from Egypt, three from Yemen, one from Iraq, and one from Jordan. Legal proceedings are currently underway.
