Muscat: In collaboration with the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, OTaxi has entered into a partnership deal with ITCHA Group and Yango Group to improve transportation services in Oman.
This deal aims to modernize digital infrastructure and offer eco-friendly taxi services.
ITCHA Group and Yango Group are committing substantial funds to expand the Otaxi business environment, creating new opportunities for growth in the local taxi industry within the area.
This partnership will include a parcel delivery service in addition to passenger transport. Customers will have access to express delivery through the Otaxi app, which will expedite the delivery of orders from shops and eateries, and simplify the process of sending gifts and personal items.
The service also allows users to utilize retail, e-commerce, and logistics platforms, and manage delivery operations for various business types, including small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
Yango Group has revealed intentions to introduce the Yango Super App in Oman soon. This app will make it easier for users to book Otaxi rides and streamline delivery services for both locals and visitors coming into Oman from other countries.
