Kuwait: The Ministry of Information, represented by the Oman News Agency (ONA), participated in the 51st General Assembly of the Federation of Arab News Agencies (FANA), which was convened in the State of Kuwait on Tuesday.
The assembly deliberated on a variety of subjects, including the enhancement of media cooperation among member states, the exchange of expertise in the realm of electronic news, and the improvement of media mechanisms in the era of modern technology and techniques.
In the meantime, Abdulrahman Baddah Al Mutairi, the Minister of Information and Culture, as well as the Minister of State for Youth Affairs of Kuwait, welcomed the participants to the 51st General Assembly.
The discussion highlighted the critical role of news agencies in providing reliable and accurate information to the Arab audience amidst global events. It also underscored the necessity of staying abreast of contemporary media technologies and the importance of fostering collaborative media efforts.
