Oman’s Oil Exports Surpass 282mn Barrels By End Of November 2024

Muscat: At the close of November 2024, the Sultanate of Oman experienced a 0.4% decline in oil exports, totaling 282,192,100 barrels, compared to 283,413,300 barrels during the same period in 2023, as reported by the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI).

According to NCSI data, oil production in Oman decreased by 5.1% by the end of November 2024, amounting to 332,693,800 barrels, down from 350,538,100 barrels in the corresponding period of 2023.

Crude oil output saw a reduction of 6.5%, while condensate production remained unchanged at the end of November 2024 compared to the previous year.

The average price of oil rose by 0.1%, reaching $81.8 per barrel at the end of November 2024, up from $81.6 per barrel a year earlier.

Average daily production fell by 5.4% by the end of November 2024. In terms of exports, Oman’s oil shipments to China increased by 1.5%, totaling 264,456,600 barrels at the end of November 2024, compared to 260,636,600 barrels in the same timeframe in 2023.

Additionally, oil exports to India rose by 10.6%, while exports to South Korea surged by 51.7%.
