Oman's Ministry Begins Distribution Of Glucose Sensors, Insulin Pumps To Children With Diabetes

In compliance with the royal directives of His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik, the Ministry of Health, through the National Center for Diabetes and Endocrinology, has initiated the distribution of electronic sensors for monitoring sugar levels and insulin pumps to Omani children under the age of 18 with type 1 diabetes.

These cutting-edge sensors provide precise monitoring capabilities, aiding in the reduction of symptoms associated with blood sugar disorders.

While there is no cure for type 1 diabetes, effective management is crucial in children to minimize the risk of serious complications. Utilizing advanced medical techniques and modern technologies enhances the quality of life for these children, enabling them to lead a normal life, engage in school and social activities, and effectively cope with the disease.
