Muscat: On Monday, the Directorate General of Khoula Hospital introduced three new healthcare initiatives for this year, themed "We Continue: Renewed Initiatives, Advanced Care."
These initiatives encompass the execution of 1,000 endoscopic surgeries in the Orthopedics Department (shoulder, knee, ankle), 600 spinal surgeries, and 500 bariatric surgeries.
The launch event was held under the auspices of Dr. Hilal Ali Al Sabti, the Minister of Health.
Additionally, the event commemorated the outcomes of the first edition of healthcare initiatives that were launched last year, which focused on delivering medical and therapeutic services to ensure continuity and sustainability, tackle challenges, minimize waiting lists, enhance performance quality, and improve the efficiency of healthcare services.
