Oman’s Envoy To Sri Lanka Presents Credentials To Maldives President

Malé: On Monday, Ahmed Ali Al Rashdi, the Omani ambassador to Sri Lanka, presented his credentials as Oman's ambassador to the Maldives. He handed over his credentials to Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, the Maldives' President.

The envoy shared with President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu the warm wishes from Sultan Haitham bin Tarik of Oman, along with his wishes for the President's good health and happiness. He also expressed the Sultan's hopes for the Maldives' people's wellbeing.

The envoy emphasized Oman's desire to strengthen its ties and increase collaboration with Maldives across various sectors, all aiming to benefit the mutual interests of the two nations.

The Maldives' President extended his greetings to His Majesty the Sultan. He expressed his desire for Omani citizens continued progress and success under His Majesty's leadership.

The President also extended his congratulations to the Omani Ambassador, expressing his hopes for the expansion and success of bilateral relations.

Subsequently, the Omani Ambassador met with Moosa Zamir, the Maldives' Foreign Affairs Minister, during which they discussed strategies to further develop bilateral cooperation.
