Osaka: A digital platform has been incorporated into the Sultanate of Oman’s pavilion at Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan.
Created by the Omani firm ‘YouVerse,’ this platform is designed to provide an engaging and sophisticated virtual experience, linking visitors to Oman through vibrant content and state-of-the-art technologies that embody the nation’s future goals.
Ibrahim Saif Bani Araba, Assistant Director-General of the Directorate-General of Arts at the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth, and a member of the Technical Committee for Oman’s Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka, stated that the platform delivers an innovative experience utilizing extended reality (XR) and artificial intelligence technologies.
The initiative involved a team of Omani innovators, highlighting Oman’s progressive vision and its embrace of advanced technology.
In a statement to the Oman News Agency, he remarked, “Oman’s Virtual Platform transcends a mere exhibition—it is a portal to the vast possibilities of the Sultanate of Oman. It acts as an entryway to an AI-enhanced environment where heritage converges with innovation, and tradition harmonizes with advancement.”
He emphasized that this groundbreaking project reflects the Oman Vision 2040, serving as a blueprint for sustainable development, technological leadership, and global impact.
He further noted that it signifies a significant stride that intertwines a rich heritage with a bright future.
