Doha: Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, held discussions with Dr. Shaya Mohsin Zindani, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Republic of Yemen on Sunday.
The meeting took place during the joint GCC-Yemen ministerial meeting, which was hosted by the State of Qatar.
Both sides emphasized the strong bilateral relations between Oman and Yemen, expressing mutual interest in enhancing ties across various sectors.
They also underscored the ongoing dialogue and collaboration aimed at supporting Yemen's security and stability, while upholding its sovereignty, territorial integrity, and independence. Additionally, the ministers stressed the significance of promoting peace and unity among all segments of the Yemeni population.
In attendance were Sayyid Ammar Abdullah Al Busaidi, Oman's Ambassador to Qatar, Sheikh Ahmed Hashel Al Maskari, Head of the GCC Department at the Foreign Ministry, and several officials from both delegations.
