Agreement Signed With Be'ah For Management Of Healthcare Waste

Muscat: The Oman Environmental Services Holding Company (be'ah) has entered into a partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources to facilitate the collection, transportation, and treatment of healthcare waste.

This agreement specifically addresses the management of waste produced by government veterinary clinics under the ministry's jurisdiction.

It underscores a commitment to promoting environmental sustainability and ensuring the safe handling of this hazardous waste.

The signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al Bakri, Undersecretary for Agriculture at the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources, and Jassim Mohammed Al Wahaibi, General Manager of Healthcare Waste Management at be'ah.
