Muscat: The Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises Development (ASMED) has officially introduced the Omani Crafts House Platform, designed to highlight contemporary products created by artisans and small to medium enterprises (SMEs), facilitating their marketing and sales.
The launch event took place under the patronage of Salim Mohammed Al Mahrouqi, the Minister of Heritage and Tourism.
In addition to creating new marketing opportunities for artisans and SMEs, this digital platform will provide its services without any registration fees or interest on sales transactions.
The platform will enable products to reach a broad audience, thereby enhancing the visibility of SMEs and artisans within local online markets.
It specifically caters to SMEs and artisans involved in handicrafts, personal care, beauty items, perfumes and incense, as well as fashion, accessories for men and women, and jewelry.
