Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman has unequivocally condemned and denounced the actions of members of the Israeli occupation government who have desecrated the courtyards of the revered Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem, the City of Al-Quds (Jerusalem), which is under Israeli occupation.
These incursions, according to Oman, are a deliberate provocation aimed at stirring the sentiments of Muslims globally and serve as a catalyst for further escalation in the region.
In a press release issued by the Foreign Ministry today, the Sultanate of Oman reaffirmed its call to the international community to fulfill its obligations in condemning and preventing all actions that contravene international laws and conventions regarding the respect for the sanctity of religious sanctuaries.
