Muscat: On Tuesday, Qais Mohammed Al Yousef, the Minister of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion in Oman, welcomed Hassan Hussein Mohamed, the Minister of Livestock, Forestry, and Range from the Federal Republic of Somalia, during his visit to the Sultanate of Oman.
The dialogue centered around strategies to enhance collaboration between the two nations, particularly in the livestock and meat sectors, as well as exploring avenues for joint investments and supporting various other sectors in a way that safeguards their shared interests.
It was decided to initiate the establishment of a joint trade and investment forum in Oman.
The meeting was graced by the presence of Dr. Saleh bin Said Masan, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion for Commerce and Industry, Bashir Hassan Haji, the Ambassador-designate of the Federal Republic of Somalia to the Sultanate of Oman, and other officials from both countries.
