Oman Participates In Joint Annual Meetings Of Arab Financial Institutions

Kuwait: On Wednesday, the Sultanate of Oman participated in the annual joint meetings of Arab financial institutions held in Kuwait. The Omani delegation was led by Sultan Salim Al Habsi, the Minister of Finance.

This delegation comprised officials from both the Ministry of Finance and the Central Bank of Oman.

During the opening session of the annual meetings, Al Habsi emphasized the necessity of enhancing efforts and fostering greater cooperation to adapt to ongoing global events and developments.

He also highlighted the importance of creating adaptable financial strategies that can tackle global challenges, strengthen economic stability in the region, and improve the investment environment.

Al Habsi noted that the Arab region, as an integral part of the global economic framework, is susceptible to international challenges.

The 16th meeting of the Council of Arab Finance Ministers took place alongside the joint session, addressing topics such as public debt management and the risks associated with public finance, among other matters.
