He stressed the importance of conducting an independent international investigation into these repeated violations, noting that “justice is the foundation of peace, and accountability is the sole means to end this prolonged suffering."
He further explained that the dire situation in Palestine and Lebanon has escalated into a broader threat to regional stability, calling for a comprehensive vision grounded in truth and justice to achieve stability in the region.
The minister also expressed the Sultanate of Oman’s full support for the initiative initiated by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to establish an international coalition aimed at realizing the Two-State Solution. He highlighted the significance of practical steps towards achieving this goal, particularly the international community’s recognition of the Palestinian State. In this regard, he commended the positions taken by countries that have taken the lead in recognizing the Palestinian State and called on other nations to join this effort to secure the long-awaited justice.
In the concluding remarks of his address, Sayyid Badr emphasized the necessity of a genuine, unified commitment towards justice for the Palestinian cause, underscoring the importance of both sincerity and tangible action.
