Abu Dhabi: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Finance, is participating in the 10th Annual Meeting of Arab Finance Undersecretaries.

This two-day event commenced on Monday in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE), featuring contributions from the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, and the OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development).

The agenda focuses on the challenges related to energy support in the Arab region. Participants will evaluate the effects of financial policies on economic growth and examine trends in public debt management and public finance risk mitigation. The sessions will also investigate the digital transformation experiences of Arab nations in public finance and the implementation of environmental, social, and governance standards within public institutions.
