Muscat: On Tuesday, Maj. Gen. Hamid Ahmed Sakroon, Chairman of the Academy for Strategic and Defence Studies, welcomed a delegation from the National Defence University of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, led by Lt. Gen. Babar Iftikhar, the institution's President.
The meeting took place at Bait Al Falaj Camp, where both parties engaged in friendly discussions and explored topics of shared interest, particularly in the realm of academia.
Subsequently, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed to foster academic and scientific collaboration between the Academy for Strategic and Defence Studies and the National Defence University of Pakistan.
The MoU was executed by Maj. Gen. Hamid Ahmed Sakroon and Lt. Gen. Babar Iftikhar.
The signing ceremony was attended by high-ranking officials from the Academy, the Ambassador of Pakistan to Oman, and the Military Attaché from the Pakistani Embassy in Muscat.
