Oman, Pakistan Explore Means Of Boosting Cooperation In Agriculture

Muscat: On Wednesday, Dr. Saud Hamoud Al Habsi, the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources, welcomed Jam Kamal Khan, the Federal Minister of Commerce from the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, during his visit to the Sultanate of Oman.

The two ministers engaged in discussions focused on enhancing cooperation in the agricultural sector and identifying joint investment opportunities that could foster growth in agriculture for both nations.

Dr. Al Habsi highlighted the significance of this visit in bolstering bilateral relations, pointing out that Pakistan has a diverse array of agricultural products suitable for export to Oman.

In response, Minister Khan conveyed Pakistan's eagerness to strengthen ties with Oman, emphasizing the necessity of collaborative efforts to achieve sustainable development and effectively utilize natural resources.
