Oman, Netherlands Agree To Boost Bilateral Relations

Muscat: On Monday, Marcel De Vink, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, met with Khalid Hashel Al Muselhi, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Administrative and Financial Affairs.

During their meeting, the two officials discussed the bilateral relations between their countries and expressed their strong commitment to enhancing cooperation in various fields.

They also examined the current regional developments and the efforts being made to de-escalate tensions in the region. Both parties emphasized the urgent need to halt the Israeli occupation forces' brutal war on the Gaza Strip.

Furthermore, the importance of facilitating the entry of humanitarian aid into the Strip was highlighted by the officials.

The meeting was attended by Sheikh Ahmed Hashel Al Maskari, Head of the GCC Department, Munthir Mahfoudh Al Manthiri, Head of the Europe Department, and several other officials from the Foreign Ministry.

Stella Kloth, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Sultanate of Oman, and members of the accompanying delegation were also present.
