Muscat: On Wednesday, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed in Muscat between the Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, and the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal, represented by the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation. This agreement aims to enhance collaboration in the tourism sector, reflecting the mutual interest of both nations to strengthen their partnership in this area.
The MoU was executed by Salim bin Mohammed Al Mahrouqi, Minister of Heritage and Tourism for the Sultanate of Oman, and Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba, Minister of Foreign Affairs for the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal.
Under this agreement, both parties will focus on fostering bilateral cooperation in various tourism-related domains, which include promoting tourism investments, establishing hotels, developing tourism infrastructure, and improving expertise in hotel management.
