Kuwait: The tenth round of the Oman-Kuwait Joint Committee took place today in Kuwait.
The delegation from Oman was led by Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, the Foreign Minister, whereas the Kuwaiti delegation was led by Abdullah Ali Al Yahya, the Foreign Minister.
In his address, Sayyid Badr highlighted that the historic visits of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and Sheikh Mishal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, the Emir of the State of Kuwait, marked the commencement of a new era characterized by robust relations. These visits also signified the broadening of bilateral cooperation in strategic sectors aimed at mutual interests.
Following the conclusion of the session, the delegations exchanged the minutes of the tenth round. Additionally, they formalized several memorandums of understanding (MoUs) and executive programs across various sectors including culture and arts, land transport, agriculture, consumer protection, municipal work, and tourism and business. Furthermore, an MoU was established for the recognition of maritime certificates for navigators.
The tenth round was graced by the presence of numerous officials from both nations.
This meeting was conducted within the broader context of the countries' mutual desire to deepen bilateral cooperation across all sectors and to implement the directives issued by the leaderships of both countries in advancing their mutual interests.
