Oman, Djibouti Sign Air Transport Agreement

Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), has officially signed an air transport agreement with the Republic of Djibouti. This agreement aims to strengthen bilateral cooperation in air transport and facilitate the movement of passengers and goods between the two nations.

The signing ceremony was conducted by Eng. Nayef Ali Al Abri, Chairman of the Civil Aviation Authority, and Diyauddin Saeed Ba’Makhramah, the non-resident Ambassador of the Republic of Djibouti to Oman.

To date, Oman has established agreements and memoranda of understanding (MoUs) in the air transport sector with over 130 countries globally. These agreements are intended to position Oman as a key regional air transport hub and enhance its connectivity to various international markets.
