Oman, China Explore Means Of Boosting Strategic Relations In All Spheres

Beijing: On Monday, the 14th round of strategic consultations took place between the Sultanate of Oman and the People's Republic of China.

The Omani delegation was led by Sheikh Khalifa Ali Al Harthy, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs, while the Chinese delegation was headed by Liu Bin, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs.

During the discussions, both parties evaluated their cooperation across political, economic, and cultural domains. They also explored ways to enhance strategic relations in various areas and exchanged perspectives on regional and international matters.

Additionally, the Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs held meetings with Zhai Jun, the Chinese Government's Special Envoy for the Middle East, and Zhang Xiaoqiang, Executive Vice Chairman of the China Center for International Economic Exchanges (CCIEE) and Vice Chairman of the National Development and Reform Commission. These meetings focused on strengthening economic collaboration and trade relations.

The consultation session was attended by Nasser Mohammed Al Busaidi, the Omani Ambassador to China, Sheikh Abdulaziz Mohammed Al Hosni, Head of the Asia and Pacific Department at the Foreign Ministry, along with several officials from both nations.
