Muscat: Representing the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs, the Sultanate of Oman convened official discussions in Muscat on Sunday with representatives from the Kingdom of Cambodia. The purpose of these talks was to explore avenues for enhancing cooperation in the realms of endowments and religious affairs.
Both delegations underscored their commitment to fostering human harmony and peaceful coexistence, with a particular emphasis on strengthening bilateral relations.
The delegation from Oman was led by Dr. Mohammed Said Al Maamari, Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs, with Dr. Osman Hassan, the Prime Minister responsible for Islamic Affairs in the Kingdom of Cambodia, leading his country's delegation.
Throughout the duration of the discussions, the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs presented an extensive display that highlighted Oman's expertise in organizing endowments and religious affairs. Additionally, it detailed the initiatives of the "Humanitarian Coalition" and "Message of Peace" projects, which are central to the Sultanate of Oman's efforts in promoting tolerance and mutual respect.
These projects are designed to foster dialogue through forums and interactive workshops, aimed at enhancing mutual understanding and contributing to the construction of bridges between diverse societies.
The discussions were graced by Ok Saron, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Cambodia to the Sultanate of Oman, along with officials from both nations.
