Oman And India Sign Cooperation Pact For Archives

New Delhi: The Sultanate of Oman, through the National Records and Archives Authority (NRAA), entered into an executive program for collaboration with the National Archives of India in New Delhi on Monday. This initiative focuses on historical documentation and the management of records and archives.

The agreement was formalized by Dr. Hamad bin Mohammed Al Dhoyani, Chairman of the NRAA, and Arun Singhal, Director General of the National Archives of India.

This executive program encompasses various cooperation initiatives aimed at enhancing collaboration in areas such as document reproduction, manuscript and book printing and exchange, as well as the preservation and maintenance of documentary materials and associated technologies. Additionally, it includes efforts in publishing documentary, cultural, literary, and historical works.

The signing ceremony was graced by the presence of Issa bin Saleh Al Shaibani, the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of India.
