Muscat: A formal discussion session took place today between the Sultanate of Oman and the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria, focusing on matters related to endowments and religious affairs.
The session was presided over by Dr. Mohammed Said Al Maamari, Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs from Oman, and Mohammed Al Maamoun Al Qasimi Al Hassani, Minister of State and Dean of the Great Mosque of Algiers from Algeria.
Additionally, the dialogue concentrated on the exchange of knowledge aimed at enhancing the role of mosques within the community. It also shed light on various experiences from Oman in the domains of endowments and religious affairs.
Both delegations emphasized the significance of mosques and endowments as pivotal tools for disseminating religious and humanitarian values, as well as for strengthening social bonds.
