Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has declared Thursday, January 9, 2025, as an official holiday for its staff.
In a formal statement, the ROP's Department of Public Relations and Security Media notified both citizens and residents that this holiday is designated for ROP personnel who adhere to the official working hours. This day is observed in honor of the annual Police Day.
The ROP stated: “The Department of Public Relations and Security Media at Royal Oman Police informs citizens and residents that Thursday, January 9, 2025, will be an official holiday for employees of the Royal Oman Police formations that operate under the official working hours system, in celebration of the annual Police Day.”
