Jakarta: The Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) participated in the 39th Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) in 2024, which was hosted in Jakarta.
This exhibition serves as a global platform that unites numerous companies and investors from across the world. It provides a unique opportunity to foster trade relations and broaden collaboration among the participating nations.
The delegation from Oman was led by Eng. Hamoud Salim Al Saadi, who serves as the Second Deputy Chairman of the OCCI Board of Directors. The participation of Oman in the trade expo was graced by the presence of Sheikh Mohammed Ahmed Al Shanfari, the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of Indonesia, along with 26 members of the OCCI Board of Directors and heads.
During the event, the OCCI engaged in a meeting with its Indonesian counterpart to discuss strategies for enhancing economic and commercial cooperation between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Indonesia, as well as to investigate potential investment opportunities across various sectors.
Furthermore, the OCCI formalized a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. This MoU aims to strengthen economic ties and facilitate the exchange of knowledge in various fields.
