Muscat: The North Al Batinah Municipality has successfully completed the development of Shinas Marine Park located in the Wilayat of Shinas. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to create recreational areas for both residents and visitors. Engineer Alia bint Salah Al-Attar from the Projects Department at North Al Batinah Municipality, who managed the project, emphasized that Shinas Marine Park significantly enhances the tourism and recreational facilities in the Wilayat.
Spanning approximately 35,250 square meters, the park includes a variety of public amenities, with 4,686 square meters dedicated to green spaces, which not only improve the environment but also provide ample open areas for guests.
The park is equipped with a designated playground, multiple cafés, commercial kiosks, and public parking facilities. Engineer Al-Attar noted that the project presents investment opportunities for youth and owners of small to medium-sized enterprises in the Wilayat, featuring 10 distinct sites within the park. These include five commercial kiosks, a café that offers a range of services for visitors, two zones for electric games, and two beachside areas for water activities.
Shinas Marine Park is anticipated to boost tourism and diversify recreational options in both the Wilayat of Shinas and the wider North Al Batinah Governorate.
